New Letter

I'm heading to T.O. on Friday to show off some of my work to some stores, so I made a sample letter as an example, since my others have sold.. and here it is, complete with pocket and elbow patch. Super fun!

New Clutch

My friend recently bought a new clutch made from an old coffee bag.. of course I'm totally jealous, so with some new fabric I got for $2/mtr! I decided to try to make my own. This is obviously a first attempt, I realized I need to use some sort of stiffener so it's not flopping all over, so for this one I sewed in some wood skewers, and the strap is a faux leather.. but overall I'm pretty happy :) I LOVE the colour.. which you can't really see in these pics.. but I will have a bag soon and I'll take more pics of that :)

My commission

I finally finished a commission that was really fun, turning two photos into fabric art. It was by far more complex than any of the other fabric art I had done before, but I was really happy with the outcome, and so was the client :)

more silver

This is a bracelet that has been in the works for a few weeks. I just finished it up tonight. It was pretty ambitious and there were a few set backs, but I'm pretty happy with it :)

How to choose?!

So I have this trunk of fabric from my grandmother, she cut hundreds of strips of fabric for rug-hooking, in tons of fabulous colours.. trouble is, it's at my sisters house :( So last week I had an idea for a bracelet, but I needed the fabric.. so Vicki sent me a package :) Look at all the fun colours!!

So I tried a few combinations, but of course ended up with neutrals :P I think I need my cousins help with picking the colours.. but I think it ended up pretty cool.. I think I'll try one quite a bit wider...
